| Code of Conduct
This site is a very special resource,
owned and operated by horse people, for horse people.
It is not a place for egos
- in fact egos are not welcome here or around horses - period!
This site was built with the aim of
improving the lives of horses worldwide. Our resident experts
will show you how to keep your horse/s in a more natural living
environment, how to treat them more compassionately, how to manage
their nutrition, health and well being holistically, how to identify
the root of problem behaviour in rider and horse, and how to champion
the spirit of the horse
However, bringing many people together in one place, with
differing opinions, can be a recipe for disaster if ground rules are not
set right from the start. For this reason we have a strict code of conduct
for behavior on this site. If you fail to observe these rules your membership
will be terminated.
Rules - well there are only 4 - they are below - please
take a moment to read them.
1. Members and experts will treat each other with respect
2. A difference of opinion is fine - and a healthy debate can be not
only entertaining, but educational. However rudeness, aggressiveness,
disrespect and humiliation will not be tolerated at all on this site,
and members behaving in such a manner will be permanently removed from
the site.
3. This site is a centre for learning and sharing of ideas - it will
not be ruled, as other sites are, by those who shout the loudest or the
longest. Everyone is entitled to share their ideas and experiences here,
without fear of starting an arguement.
4. If your membership is terminated for breaking this code of conduct,
your membership fee will not be refunded.
We are aiming to make this site the very best resource you will find on the
internet. We are not here to be policing every word that is said, all
we ask is for common courtesy and respect amongst members, as this will
make the site a nice place to be, filled with helpful friendly people
who have joined our mission to improve the lives of horses across the
world.
There
is a saying:
All truth passes through three stages.
First, it is ridiculed.
Second, it is violently opposed.
Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.
Just because you dont agree with an idea shared on this site, doesnt
make it wrong and you right, or vice versa - if it is in the interest
of the horse it is worth consideration.
All too often, when knowledge runs out, fear runs in!
Don't be too quick to judge an idea just because it is outside of your
current knowledge or experience.
I
hope to see you on the site soon
