| About
this site
Natural Horse People is a
not for profit organisation set up to provide a friendly network
of support for horse people everywhere and is supported by over
60 experts on the subject of the natural horse and natural horse
keeping.
The site is totally independent
both financially and doctrinally and it is not aligned to any
one method, equine product or organisation and encourages diversity
and civilised debate.
If you are here, you have
either been referred by a friend or you have come to the site
looking for information on how to connect with your horse, how
to keep your horse in a more natural environment, or how to improve
the quality of its life - maybe you have come in search of answers
to all of the above. Well rest assured - you have come to the
right place.
This site was developed by
me, Sam Mignano, in collaboration with many natural horse experts
from across the world. My idea of bringing people together from
across the world into one place to create an unbiased centre of
excellence, knowledge and learning has received a positive response
from experts worldwide.
My aim is to bring natural horse experts from across
the world together with people who work with horses, people considering
horse ownership and horse owners worldwide. By offering support,
friendship, information, insight and quality advice on everything
from behaviour and nutrition through to well being and communication,
this site could improve the quality of life of many horses, and
the relationship they have with their owners.
Changing the way you keep your horse, the way you
think about your horse and communicate with it can be a daunting
and scary task. This is compounded by the traditional methods
handed down over the years. Many people find the idea of change
very scary and feel that it's easier to disregard or dismiss new
methods, making fun of those who try new things. Natural Horse
People is an unbiased central knowledge base, where you can come
and learn and then make up your own mind which way is best for
you and your horse.
I could ramble on for ever but I am not going to.
Get on in to the members
area and make some friends, meet new people and share
your troubles and your triumphs with all of us. If you have any
problems with this site you can talk
to me personally, whether you are an expert or a
member - I am always here to help you. I hope you enjoy this site
and through it learn lots of new techniques that will benefit
both you and your horse.
Best wishes
Samantha Mignano
